    Mat Pilates is a challenging yet safe method to strengthen the body’s “powerhouse,” a Pilates term that refers to your abdominals, lower back muscles, pelvic floor, hips and glutes. This class incorporates all the key principles of Pilates such as postural alignment, breathing, core stability, controlled movement and flexibility. While low-impact, Pilates burns fat during and after class, as your muscles continue to shed calories long after class ends. All levels welcomed- beginners will be given optional modifications.

The emphasis on moving to the beat makes each class feel like a “dance on the mat.” Students get to train their strength, balance, flexibility, agility, coordination and cardio fitness in this 60-minute workout.
